How to Transfer Money to and from your Savings Account

We have explained the fund transfer process for transactions upto 2 Lakhs and above 2 Lakhs, let’s have a look:

Transaction upto 2 Lakhs: Tap on the Money Transfer icon within the Bank section on your Paytm App. Fill up the receiver’s details or select an already added receiver from the list, enter the amount to be transferred, authorize the transaction using your passcode and that’s it! You will now see the transaction confirmation screen.

Transaction above 2 Lakhs: Tap on the Money Transfer icon within the Bank section on your Paytm App. Fill up the receiver’s details or select an already added receiver from the list, enter the amount to be transferred, now you will see the tentative time the receiver’s bank will take, authorize the transaction using your passcode and you are good to go! You will now see the transaction confirmation screen.

FAQ :

Payments Bank limit is Rs 1 lakh. How can I then transfer Rs 10 lakh in a single transaction?

The Rs 1 lakh limit is the end-of-the-day balance limit on your account. There is no limit on amount that your bank account can hold during the day. At the end of each day, the amount in your account that is in excess of Rs 1 lakh is swept out into a Fixed Deposit with our partner bank.

Earlier you could only transfer upto Rs 2 lakhs in a single transaction. We have now enhanced the transfer limit to Rs 10 lakh.
